If you want to get into any free shows for SXSW make sure you are following @RollingStone and @SXSWPartyList on twitter. Lots of free parties and shows but they require that you RSVP.

There are day parties hosted by companies and labels. You get free shit, food and drink.

Also the Perez show is not free like it was in years past. It’s $25 for gen admission and $50 for VIP with limited open bar. That means beer, vodka, rum and whiskey.
